KanjiMemory

KanjiMemory is a game of Memory that lets you play rounds of memory games with kanji and their readings.

It is designed to be played by students of the Japanese language that wish to deepen their kanji knowledge while also training their short term memory.

Choose your play deck size to adjust the difficulty to your liking. But beware, it can be really difficult to get a positive score on a deck size of 14 or more!

Once you’ve confirmed your choice start training your kanji knowledge and short term memory by matching pairs of kanji and their correct reading. Solved pairs of cards will have a unique ID number displayed to better distingush them from other pairs.

Try finishing your play deck by matching all pairs! Play as many rounds as you like. Each round shuffles the offered kanji anew, so no two rounds will be the same.

KanjiMemory offers the following:

  • Short-timed play sessions
  • Full set of the current 2136 jouyou kanji issued in 2010 by the Japanese Ministry of Education is included
  • The game can be thus quite challenging

This game is meant for intermediate and advanced students of the japanese language that already have a basic grasp of kanji, however due to it offering any of the jouyou kanji in a play session it is not recommended for complete beginners.
